Winning awards for our clients – A hat trick of awards for Powell Software

The Campaign

Powell Software is a global Employee Experience Platform Provider, headquartered in Paris, France. Founded in 2015, Powell Software now has 80 employees and offices across the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It’s mission is to help companies meet the challenges of the hybrid workplace while improving employee experience and promoting inclusivity with collaboration tools that are easily accessible to all  

Launch Campaign:

Winning awards is great on many levels. For the business recognition and reputation, for your customers and partners in sharing in the success, and for your team’s sense of pride in being part of something outstanding.  

That’s certainly how the HeadOn PR team felt when we helped one of our long-standing clients, Powell Software, recently craft award-winning entries, supported by powerful endorsements from the press to strengthen their entry, which led to Powell: 

  • Winning the HRO Association awards for Innovation in HR Technology Small-Mid Market EMEA for its small business intranet solution – Together.  
  • Winning gold in both the International Brilliance Awards for Innovative Use in Technology in HR and Brilliance in Use of Technology in Internal Communications, for Together 
  • Powell Software named finalist in the UK Business Tech Awards for Best Use of Innovation Category  

As well as the positive feelings that winning an award engenders, they can also be powerful tools to drive a business forward. Powell’s primary objective in entering these awards – apart from the feel-good factor – was to launch Together, a new product lead in their portfolio, so HeadOn Cheltenham PR agency advised on entering various awards as part of their wider communications strategy. 

The award-winning product 

Together came to market in the Autumn of 2021 to help SMEs grappling with the myriad challenges of working under the restrictions of the Covid pandemic and a hybrid workplace. It was marketed as a one-stop-shop where workers can share documents, socialise on a virtual coffee machine app, and seek support via the HR hub. 

Winning these awards so soon after market launch is a real feather in their cap, particularly as there were a record number of entries and they were judged by an esteemed panel of experts, including from Deloitte, Diageo and LinkedIn.
