LetsLocalise, is a digital and social platform for state schools, local communities and businesses to provide time, money or resources.
Working as a ‘digital village’ it aims to harness community goodwill, build long-term relationships and provide full transparency of where funds will go to.
Any parent or business wishing to donate can discover the needs of multiple schools from across the UK on a single platform.
HeadOn PR was recommended to LetsLocalise as the PR agency to launch a radical new campaign, headed by Joe Foster, the founder of Reebok – to help schools across the UK ‘#RaisingAMillion’.
LetsLocalise launched the ‘#RaisingAMillion’ campaign because the futures of children across the UK are in jeopardy thanks to a severe lack of funding in the education system.
HeadOn PR developed a strategy to secure extensive press coverage from regional, national and trade publications in order to capture the attention of schools, businesses and the public, drive traffic to the LetsLocalise website, and entice viewers to take part in the campaign to raise donations for schools in need.
Leveraging our extensive media connections via our Digital PR and Broadcast Services, we secured widespread national and local media coverage, national and regional TV and radio interviews for LetsLocalise before and after the event.
